What is Psychedelic Injury?
Psychedelic injury refers to the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise after a difficult psychedelic experience. It's essential to acknowledge and address these issues to foster a journey of healing.
About Ayahuasca Healing:
In recent years, there has been a growing global interest in the potential therapeutic use of psychedelics for emotional healing and mental health treatment. This renewed interest is driven by a combination of scientific research, changing attitudes toward mental health, and a desire to explore alternative treatment options.
While the interest in psychedelics for emotional healing is growing, it's essential to emphasise the importance of responsible use, informed decisions, and professional guidance when considering these substances. Psychedelics are not a panacea, and their effects can vary greatly from person to person. It's crucial to approach them with care, respect, and in a controlled and supportive environment, whether for therapeutic or personal reasons.
Ayahuasca is a powerful psychedelic brew that carries various risks and potential adverse effects. It's crucial to be well-informed about these risks and to approach Ayahuasca use with caution. It's crucial to emphasise that Ayahuasca should only be consumed under the guidance of experienced and qualified practitioners in a safe and controlled ceremonial setting. Prior to engaging in Ayahuasca use, individuals should consult with a healthcare professional, especially if they have underlying medical or psychological conditions or are taking medication.
Ultimately, responsible and informed use of Ayahuasca is essential to maximise its potential benefits and minimise the associated risks. It's not suitable for everyone, and individuals should carefully consider whether it is the right choice for their circumstances.
Ayahuasca Risks:
Whilst there are numerous benefits to drinking Ayahuasca, there is always a risk of psychedelic injury. With the growth in popularity and the readily available access to Ayahuasca, there are several risks inherent with ingesting the medicine as you are opening yourself up energetically, and without the right protection in place, you can cause yourself real harm and or death. Please do not take this lightly as my experience was severely traumatic and it has taken me over two years to recover from one ceremony.
Some of the risks and potential adverse effects of Ayahuasca include:
Paranoia
Terror
Confusion
Anxiety Attacks
Depersonalisation
Dissociation
Feeling of Being Lost/Disconnected from your Power
Loss of Self
Hallucinations
Flashbacks
Cognitive and Memory Issues

Out of Body Sensations
Spiritual Crisis
Brujeria
Suicidal Ideation
